I think there should be a game called audio trivia. You have 60 seconds on the clock and your task is to answer as many questions as possible which are read out by a speech synthisizer. They can be multiple choice so you press a b c or d on the keyboard to select your answer.
Note: You have to unload your screenreader before playing.
Sound good, tell me what you think!
I for one like that idea. Not only trivia but a few others too lend themselves to this idea.
Ware does one get the bandwith and server space to hoast all this? Not only does one have to have the *.wav or *.mp3 files on the server, but then they have to hoast them all, too. Besides isn't the way the games are currently done good enough? I mean, would they have different games in the audio section then are on the site? or it would just be a mirror of what is available here? ish nah so sure about this idea honestly.
John
I like what they have right now.
Or maybe there could be a game called guess who's uploaded the audio profile. You have to listen to the audio profile and type in the user name or id of the person you think it is and then if your right, receive points (obviously) lol.
It might work except people are changing their audio profiles all the time and it'll have to be multiple choice to avoid incorrect spelling. I bet there's also server space to consider.
i like the audio profile game, music angel. we have who said that, so why not audio profiles?
as for the audio game, i'm going to agree with john. server space is a big issue, and even if we did have enough space, where the hell would we get all the audio files from?. plus, don't think the site was set up to be audio, it's more set up for chatting, and games that are easier to set up and play.
if you want audio games, use www.pressakey.net. there, over!
No way! That's just asking for Jaws to get screwed up!
um... if you read the first post, music angel said "speech synthesizer." I think you can communicate with a synth in php, but not sure. i know you can in flash, but not sure how to do it. and a who uploaded the audio profile would probably only take 10 kb or there abouts, we add a lot more than that with quicknotes, audio profile changes, the boards...
